1. Download, print, trace and cut out all patterns on cardboard or chipboard. Paint top of cupcake with petal pink, let dry. Measure and cut 8′ of pink streamer and distress one long edge with Tea Dye. Peel off and attach 1/4″ Kool Tak Strips to back of streamer, then gather and pleat while attaching to cupcake top. Trim with scissors or simply tear with fingers and fold over edges and top.
2. Measure and cut plain printer paper to 5 1/4″ by 11″ and line with 1/2″ Kool Tak™ Strips using the Kool Tak™ Layer Plus to make sure that your application is straight. Place light blue Kool Tak™ Foil Sheets on top (color side up) and burnish lightly with fingers then lift up by pulling from one corner. If there are any holes in the foil application, place a new section down, burnish and lift up until there is complete coverage. Fan fold the length using the Strips as a guide. Attach to cupcake bottom with 1/2″ Kool Tak™ Premium Extreme by lining up along bottom edge. Trim and fold over edges. Attach cupcake top to cupcake bottom with 1/2″ Kool Tak™ Premium Extreme, by overlapping 1″ at top of cupcake bottom.
3. Measure and cut Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive Sheet to 4″ by 10″, peel back release paper and attach patterned paper. Peel back red release paper and attach three banner pieces then cut out. Distress with Tea Dye and attach banner tails to banner with two stacked Kool Tak™ Adhesive Foam Pads under each end. Attach letter stickers and embellishments.
4. Measure and cut patterned paper to 1 1/2″ by 12″, fan fold and attach end with Kool Tak™ 1/2″ Premium Extreme to creat a tube. Measure and cut two Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive Sheet pieces and one chipboard piece to 3″ by 5″, peel back release paper and attach to each side of chipboard. Trace and cut out two circles both 2″ in diameter, set one aside. Peel back red release paper, gather pleated tube at top and push down to create a rosette. Attach sticker embellishments. Peel back second red release paper and attach to right side of bottom of cupcake.
5. Peel back red release paper from second circle and place sticky side up on paper plate. Sprinkle with Kool Tak™ Sparkles Bonus Pack in Red – Mixed Beads first, Micro Beads second and Glitter third. Use release paper to press the Sparkles firmly in to the Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive sheet. Peel back half of the second red release paper, trim with scissors and attach to top center of cupcake top.
6. Attach Kool Tak™ 1/2″ Premium Extreme tape to four ends of two pieces of jumbo rick rack. Peel back release paper to attach banner to cupcake.

KOOL TAK TIPS:
- Kool Tak™ Strips are easy to use because they are padded, so they just peel off. They are already measured and cut, so you can fit your project size to the variety of widths in the package. Instead of having to cut them with scissors, Kool Tak™ Strips can be torn with your fingers!
- When using the Kool Tak™ Foil Sheets burnish or rub lightly with pads of fingers or thumb too get the smoothest finish. Do not burnish with finger nail or bone folder as this will wrinkle and break the foil and your finish will not be smooth.
- To easily start a double sided adhesive tape such as Kool Tak™ Premium Extreme, fold over a corner of the tape on to itself. Peel back the release paper to create a tab.
- Use Teflon Coated Scissors to easily cut through adhesives such as Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive Sheets and Kool Tak™ Premium Extreme tape.
