It’s only February, but Easter will be here before we know it. That means it’s time to get your Easter gifts ready, so you can enjoy the season with a lot less stress.
Here’s a little “happy”, as my friend Joanie calls them, to make ahead for giving to friends at this special time.
Here’s how I did it:
Supplies
Kool Tak™ Products
Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive , 1/2″
Kool Tak™ Reusable Non-stick Craft Sheet
Kool Tak™ Adhesive Foam Pads, 1/2″ x 1/2″ x 1/4″
bunny face, printed on white card stock
Colored pencils, yellow, pink, dark blue, lavender, green, light blue, medium blue
Cello bag with resealable opening (I used one from an old Kool Tak™ adhesive pack)
Card stock, deep purple, 6″ x 1/2″ wider than the cello bag width
Card stock, yellow polka dot, 5 1/2″ x 1/2″ smaller than the purple topper
Decorative scissors (Fiskars)

Instructions
Place the Kool Tak™ Reusable Non-stick Craft Sheet on your work surface to protect it.
Print the bunny face and trim closely with the scissors.
Use colored pencils to color ear insides, nose, eyes and jelly beans.
Fold the purple card stock to create a piece that is 3″ tall. Use the decorative scissors to trim both of the long edges at once along the wide side.
Fold the yellow dot card stock in half to make a piece that is 2 3/4″ tall. Use the decorative scissors to trim both of the long edges at once along the wide side.
Apply Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive to the back of the yellow card stock at the top, bottom and just below the center fold. Remove the release tape and place the yellow dot fold over the fold of the purple card stock. Press to adhere.
Place two pieces of Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive to the inside top and bottom of the purple card stock, being careful to keep the width less than the width of your cellophane bag.
Tip: For a guaranteed perfect fit, attach the strips to the cellophane bag, being sure the resealable opening is at the bottom of the bag. You may need to add additional Kool Tak™ Ultra Clear Adhesive if you use this method.
Remove the release tapes and attach the bag to the inside of the topper.
Apply Kool Tak™ Foam Squares to the bunny face, remove the release paper and attach it to the bag topper center with the ears just above the fold.
Fill the bag with your favorite treat and give it to someone sweet. They’ll think you’re sweet, too!
